About Us

We are located in Raphine, Virginia on a 80-acre family farm with our outdoor hobbies consisting of horses, herd of beef cows, a family milk cow, a donkey, sheep, chickens, ducks, and dogs. While our indoors is full of my purrfect Persian cats and kittens. It’s a full-time, round the clock, 24/7 job working from home! We started out with our first three Persians for breeding seven years ago!

Our adopting families usually come to our home for pickup of their Persian kittens on a specific date and time (pre-arranged by appointment), but if you live some distance away I do have a wonderful driver delivery service who can deliver by pre-arranged appointment (for a fee) one of my Persian kittens to your home, or meet you for delivery at a halfway location up to four to six hours from our home. Full payment including the delivery fee will be required to be sent by Venmo at least two days prior to delivery. We do not ship our Persian kittens via airlines, but you can fly here to Virginia, meet my delivery driver at an airport, and fly home with your Persian kitten. With the health of the cattery in mind and our busy schedule, we do not have visitors prior to pickup except by appointment only in advance via call or text. We do NOT have a pet store. When meeting for pickup of your Persian kitten, we will meet/visit for a brief 10 to 15 minutes. If you have any questions after pickup I am available by call.

Having been born and raised on a family farm I grew up with a great love and appreciation for animals...so began my love of cats and kittens from a young age. My family and I are originally from Vermont, and we moved from Vermont to our farm in Raphine, Virginia in August of 2018. My cattery of CFA registered Persians and their kittens all began in the summer of 2019 when my parents lovingly surprised me with my first Persian male and two Persian female kittens. I had been for the past several years gaining lots of knowledge on raising kittens and breeding cats from my Aunt (owner & breeder of Cross-Stitch Cattery in Texas) who has been experienced with breeding CFA registered Persians for 34 years now. She has been a big blessing of help to me! I have since expanded my cattery and now have eleven beautiful Persian cats for breeding, and I have also kept five of my own female Persian kittens this past spring/summer of 2026 for potential future breeding. My family and I have greatly enjoyed raising our litters of Persian kittens each year and always desire to better the breed throughout the present and future generations. I breed only CFA registered (with breeding rights) Persian cats. All of my Persian cats come from excellent bloodlines that have been tested negative for PKD and Feline Leukemia. Before adoption, our Persian kittens each receive their first vaccine of their four kitten series 3-way vaccinations and are vet checked. In addition to being well socialized, used to daily grooming (and eye/nose cleaning), and biweekly nail trimming, weekly bathing & hair drying, each Persian kitten is litter box trained to a small area before going to its new family home. We use Pine Pellets (also called Pelletized Bedding for horses and other small animals…rabbits and cats) for litter in all our litter boxes.

Here are some tips for basic care of your Persian kitten/cat:

Keeping the litter box clean and scooped daily is important and wash the litter box often. Also, for the first several weeks after adoption keep him in a small area/room until you are confident that he knows where the litter box is and uses it without accident. If for some reason you find peeing outside the litter box once or twice please get in touch with me so we can find a solution quickly, so a bad habit doesn’t form. All our Persian kittens are litter box trained (using Pine Pellets litter) to a small area before adoption.

Specifically, Persians as a breed, are a high maintenance breed. He will need to have his eyes and nose gently cleaned around at least once or twice every day to remove all tearing, stains, and buildup (you can research on safe wipes specifically for Persians or just use a dampened paper towel in warm water for cleaning around the eyes and nose). Don’t forget for use a dry paper towel after you have finished cleaning to help prevent it looking smeared. You can also use your Slicker Brush (very carefully) letting him close his eyes while you lightly brush the fur around his eyes/cheeks to fluff it up and make it look soft. Daily eye/nose cleaning is important, not only to improve appearance, but mainly to help prevent respiratory and eye infections - that are all too common with this breed.

He will need grooming every day with a Slicker Brush, and as his coat gets thicker, he will need a long-toothed metal comb to help prevent knots. I recommend bathing at least every two weeks…it’s sometimes a necessity to bathe whites weekly. Somewhere between four to six months old, you can switch to bathing every three weeks, and as an adult Persian, he should be good with bathing every 3 to 4 weeks. You can bathe him or take him to a professional groomer. Generally, twice a month or whenever he is bathed, he will need to have his nails trimmed and given a sanitary trim with scissors or a pet clipper under the tail before bathing. Use Dawn dish soap and NuVet Kitten Shampoo. To order NuVet Kitten Shampoo call (800) 474-7044 and use my order code 787131. When bathing check to see if there’s a lot of wax in his ears. If they look like they need to be cleaned…gently wash with a tiny drop of Dawn dish soap and rinse very well. Be sure to gently dry his ears with a soft towel and blow in them a little with a hair dryer to make him shake his head to prevent any moisture from causing an ear infection. Towel dry first then blow dry in a carrier or your lap (whichever he tolerates better) and stop every 5 minutes to brush and detangle his coat with the Slicker Brush; as it will help him dry a lot faster. The key to your Persian tolerating bathing is consistency! You must be diligent with his bathing schedule from the start while he is young and throughout his life. He will grow more relaxed about bathing/blow drying with consistency, and some tolerant bathing/blow drying better than others, but no Persian likes to get wet. Bathing is necessary for a lifetime of good health and a beautiful coat!

Otherwise, caring for him is simple, and he will give you lots of love and play. Provide a bowl of fresh, clean drinking water at all times. Keep his food bowl filled each morning with Purine Kitten Chow Healthy Development and sprinkle his NuVet Plus feline daily supplement powder over his food each morning. Have his next 3-way vaccinations given at the dates in his Vaccination Record I will give you in his folder, do fecal checks for parasites regularly, as kittens pick up parasites easily, mail in his CFA registration to transfer ownership, and have him or her neutered/spayed around six months old. Lastly, I’d like to say just a word of precaution to parents with young children. I absolutely love my Persian kittens to go to loving families with children! However, Persian kittens are very fragile and young children must be helped to be very careful and gentle with their new Persian kitten friend. They wouldn’t intentionally hurt them, but Persian kittens are not stuffed animals. Persian kittens are so much fun, but extra care must be taken that they don’t get hurt.

Our Persian kittens acclimate well to homes with quiet, well-behaved dogs who respect the kitten’s/cat’s own personal space, and again great care must be taken that they don’t get hurt.

Our Persian kittens are eating dry food Purina Kitten Chow Healthy Development for cats 12 months & under with real chicken - supplemented once daily with NuVet Plus feline daily supplement powder. Occasionally, we will have a Persian kitten or two in a litter who simply prefer canned food and have not transitioned to eating dry food by adoption time, and for them we feed Fancy Feast Tender Chicken Feast Kitten made with real milk. Once our Persian cats are one year old, we gradually transition them to eating dry food Purina Cat Chow naturals with added vitamins, minerals & nutrients with savory real chicken and lean turkey - supplemented once daily with NuVet Plus feline daily supplement powder.

Our Persian kittens each come with their folders complete with our One Year Genetic Health Guarantee/Kitten Contract, their Vaccination Record, and a health exam letter from my vet, along with their CFA registration and receipt. All of our Persian kittens are sold with CFA pet rights only (unless otherwise specifically prior to purchase asked for and agreed upon CFA breeding rights), and each new owner is responsible and required to have their Persian kitten/cat spayed or neutered before their Persian kitten/cat turns a year old - no breeding is allowed with CFA pet rights only. I recommend having your Persian kitten spayed (female) or neutered (male) when your Persian kitten is about six months old.

Some of my favorite hobbies are knitting and cross-stitching with one of my beautiful Persians sitting on my lap purring happily; playing with my yarn or thread, and loving a gentle pat here and there. People ask me what color I love the most. Since I have several colors it's always a easy answer...I love them all...because Persians truly are the best no matter the color!
